We continue preparations for the 26th edition of the World of Glass exhibition, which will be held as part of Russian Construction Week from 11 to 14 March 2025. The show will take place in the spacious Pavilion No. 1 of EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds and will once again bring together leading companies of the glass industry. Viplomplekt, Intmarket, Ritservice, Stromizmeritel, YTA, Rusceramica and many others have already confirmed their participation.
In this issue we offer you news from three of our regular exhibitors: Stromizmeritel, Vipkomplekt and Intmarket. We are also looking forward to hearing about your successful projects, new equipment and new design developments.
Stromizmeritel is actively involved in the state programme for recycling glass waste
Stromizmeritel, a regular exhibitor at World of Glass, is approaching the end of the year with good results. The company have completed several projects for the reconstruction and installation of equipment for the complex processing of glass waste and received new requests for cooperation.
Photo: StromizmeritelThe technological design was finalized, and the equipment of a line for the complex processing of glass waste for Expo-Glass in the town of Kurlovo, Vladimir oblast, was manufactured. Earlier, a similar project was implemented at the Kavminsteklo glass container plant in Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol krai, with Stromizmeritel's participation.
Another completed project is a glass waste processing line for the Yelizovo branch of the Grodno glass plant in Belarus.
There are more than 360 enterprises, glass plants, sites and technological lines in Russia and 17 countries in the total list of implemented and built facilities during the existence of Stromizmeritel.
The company’s representatives say that a significant part of requests for cooperation came as a result of participation in Mir Stekla. According to Valery Efremenkov, Deputy General Director at Stromizmeritel, the company outlined a number of promising projects during negotiations at the exhibition.
“We have offered a number of promising projects in addition to our traditional services related to reconstruction and design of assembly workshops and facilities for processing of raw materials for glass and refractory industry, as well as integrated glass waste processing lines,” said Valery Efremenkov. “First of all, these projects include new lines for production of glass insulators at the Yuzhnouralsky Insulators and Fittings Plant and UMEC in Yuzhnouralsk. Stromizmeritel has developed and is manufacturing two-roll mechanisms for flattening large drops of glass mass before feeding them into granulators. Also with our partners, with whom we have been cooperating for the last two years, we have considered projects for the production of glass-ceramic foam made from opoka and granulated fertilisers based on another sedimentary silica rock called trepel.”
Stromizmeritel has big plans for 2025, including the implementation of the state programme for recycling and processing of glass waste. Significant expansion of the range of technological equipment produced by the company for these purposes makes it possible to create recycling lines for secondary glass waste, fully equipped with domestic technology.
Vipkomplekt increased the volume of deliveries by 2.5 times compared to last year
Vipkomplekt started its work in the field of supplying components for the production of double-glazed windows 25 years ago. During this time, the company has earned the trust of hundreds of manufacturers and dozens of suppliers. The company is growing, developing and keeping up with the times to provide comfortable work for manufacturers of translucent constructions in Russia and neighbouring countries.
Photo: Vipkomplekt “The foreign policy situation dictates its own requirements, and therefore there is a need to expand the product range,” said Yulia Evseeva, Project Manager of Architectural and Structural Sealants Group. “Since 2023 our company has been a supplier of Finotech sealants made by Chinese chemical concern Hangzhou Zhijiang Silicone Chemicals Co., Ltd. Over a year on the Russian market, sealants of this brand have earned the trust of the largest manufacturers of translucent constructions in Russia, Armenia and Belarus. In 2024, Vipkomplekt increased the volume of supplies from China by 2.5 times compared to the previous year. It is also planned to significantly increase the volume of supplies in 2025 due to the growing number of processors.
“Despite the challenges, Vipkomplekt continues to cooperate with manufacturers in Germany, Italy and Turkiye, ensuring a continuous supply of components for its partners. In 2024, Vipkomplekt took part in trade shows in Russia, such as World of Glass and Interauto, as well as China Glass, which is a show in Shanghai.
“As a market leader, we are constantly improving our working methods. In today's economic conditions, competition in all sectors is particularly acute. Today, success in the market can only be achieved through cooperation with reliable partners, always developing and moving forward. We are already starting to prepare for the new season and for participation in such key trade show as World of Glass 2025.”
Intmarket celebrates its anniversary by expanding its range and geography of deliveries
Intmarket, a regular exhibitor at World of Glass, celebrates 10 years of successful activity this year. The company's product range is annually expanding. Today it includes machines for grinding and polishing of straight glass edges, for double-sided edge processing, horizontal CNC machining centres, machines for double-sided glass drilling, and various cleaning machines.

– This year our company celebrates 10 years since its establishment. During this time we have come a long way, we have a lot to be proud of. First of all, it is the fact that Intmarket has managed to take its important place in the glass equipment market.
Secondly, we have expanded the pool of supplied equipment from the simplest edgebanding machines to complex processing lines.
And thirdly, we have significantly increased the geography of our customers. Now our equipment operates in almost every region of the Russian Federation, as well as in the countries of the Customs Union.
– Anton, what are the company's immediate plans? What are you ready to offer the market?
– One of the key vectors of further development of our company is to improve the level of cooperation with our main suppliers and search for new high-tech manufacturers of glass processing equipment. After all, the industry does not stand still. We strive to meet the demands of our customers. The main task for us, as well as for all these 10 years, is to offer the most effective solutions for the development of our customers' production facilities.
– What does participation in this show mean for your company: is it an important marketing tool that gives you new clients, or does it preserve your image?
– For our company, participation in World of Glass is first and foremost an opportunity to meet our friends, partners and new market players. This show is a great platform for networking and exchange of opinions. And, of course, it is here that we present our new products, show and tell in detail what we can offer to industry professionals today. So we are going to get ready for World of Glass 2025 and look forward to meeting you at our stand from 11 to 14 March 2025 at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds!
