Horizontal machining centers, flashy marketing, ceramic pigments from World of Glass 2025 exhibitors
Dear colleagues,
November is a special month for the glass industry, when Russian glassmakers sum up results and celebrate their professional day. We also congratulate everyone in this amazing profession and wish success to your noble cause!
This issue of our digest presents news from industry majors, regular World of Glass exhibitors YTA, Stanki Mira and Rusceramica.
Stanki Mira offers advanced glass processing technologies for tasks of any complexity
Stanki Mira has been a leader of the glass processing equipment market for more than 20 years. A regular participant in World of Glass, the company offers solutions for tasks of any complexity from simple basic tools to fully automated full-cycle production lines.
Partnership with global brands
The company is an official distributor of products from several high-tech plants of China, including such renown brands as Yalong, Datuo, and Jinbo. Its own brand, Michael Mercury is highlighted in particular. General Director Mikhail Tokarev has told us more about products and plans for the upcoming season.
We supply high-configuration equipment that meets high standards of the Russian market under the Michael Mercury brand. The reliability and durability of our machines are ensured by premium mechanical and electrical components.
Each year, Stanki Mira demonstrates advanced glass processing solutions at its booth. In spring 2024, the company presented:
- Horizontal CNC machining centers from China – exhibition visitors noted high quality of glass processing and wide functionality of this equipment.
- High-speed horizontal grinding machine – an ideal solution for glass unit manufacturers with impressive processing speed and ease of operation.
To us, World of Glass is both an opportunity to demonstrate new products and a key platform for strengthening business contacts, searching for new suppliers, and increasing our sales.
Mikhail, how is your company doing at the end of this year?
Stanki Mira ends the year with commendable results. The development of our own brand, Michael Mercury, confirmed high confidence of our clients, and the relevance of company equipment grew in the Russian market. Participation in World of Glass bolstered the company’s standing as a reliable partner and supplier of high-tech equipment.
What are you planning for next year?
The company is planning to broaden the product range in 2025 with emphasis on advanced automation and energy efficiency solutions. At the same time, the company will continue to strengthen cooperation with current partners and to explore opportunities of gaining new suppliers.
What tasks do you set for World of Glass in spring?
In spring 2025, Stanki Mira plans to present an updated range of machines with a focus on affordability and technological capability. Our key tasks include:
- Demonstration of new equipment models that meet global glass processing trends.
- Promotion of comprehensive company service, from engineering and delivery to launch, training and service.
In addition, our company plans to display equipment capacities and emphasize the idea that innovations are not just words but real solutions that increase productivity.
Flashy marketing of YTA: podcasts and social networks
YTA, a major supplier of equipment and materials for processing glass, stone, aluminum and PVC and furniture production, not just selects quality equipment and fully automates enterprises but also pleases its subscribers with useful content: the company launched a Guys with Big Machines podcast and sent out invitations to partners long before the exhibition. Marketing Department Head Daria Zhmak has told us how they came up with the idea of podcasts and what other marketing tools the company uses in its operations.

Daria, your company has been conducting a rather aggressive marketing policy (in a good sense of this word). Why did you choose this form of advertising and what effect did it have on sales, customer loyalty and so on?
Our company has been working in the field of industrial automation for 21 years. We have developed a profound understanding of product lines and proper maintenance and can easily figure out what exactly will suit our clients depending on their production needs. I mean both current needs and subtleties and possible future business expansions that need to be taken into account today. It is this expertise that we want to share. We try to encourage people to think about many important things before adjusting their capacities, know what they should pay attention to, avoid unnecessary surprise expenses, and get the profit they sought when they came to buy our equipment.
I can't speak for everyone in terms of feedback. However, feedback from our loyal customers shows that they watch even those of our podcasts and videos that are not directly related to their production area. In our B2B sector, sharing actual experience is an important tool, so that people know who they are contacting and feel that they have come to the right company. This has a direct effect on loyalty and makes the work easier for us and clients: we begin to speak the same language, and many processes become easier and faster to implement.
Interesting podcasts require “special people” who are both professionals and striking personalities. Where do you find them?
In this case, a lot depends on our owners who are charismatic people, passionate about their business, and not indifferent to it at all. No matter how much time passes, and no matter what the size of our company is, they not only provide an opportunity for development of specialists in our employ but also draw experienced industry professionals into our company for establishing excellent creative collaboration.
Finalizing PNR, everything is working
Do the exhibitions remain an important marketing tool for you or are they just a matter of image? How does your company prepare for an exhibition? What do you do to maximize its result?
Exhibitions are one of our favorite offline tools and key points of contact with clients. It is no secret that you can meet partners from different cities and countries at such venues, thus minimizing traveling efforts. This is an opportunity to maximize the presence of key employees available to clients for answering their questions. They represent service, procurement, logistics and supply departments. So, we never disregard exhibitions but treat them with respect and start our preparations as soon as possible. We decide what we will bring to our booth to catch attention of visitors and be useful to view in real time. We come up with interactive ideas for our booth, including presentations and photo sessions. We thoroughly consider our negotiating and catering areas, as an exhibition is a physically intense event and visitors need a quiet place to catch their breath and get some refreshment. We always try to maximize our representation so that visitors do not have to wait until a specialist is available to answer their questions.
We invite you to our Stand 1E10 at World of Glass 2025 so that you could see this with your own eyes, especially if you have not visited our stands before. We promise that a lot of interesting things will be presented.
While we are preparing to meet our visitors, we recommend that you watch the latest issues of our podcasts with lots of useful information for glass industry professionals and colleagues from associated industries.

Rusceramica posts production growth this year
The Rusceramica Holding, a managing company of Dulevo Paint Plant, Russia’s only manufacturer of paints for glass and ceramic industries of Russia and other CIS member states, ends the year with good results. The company specializes in production of ceramic pigments, thermoplastic and architectural paints, frits, fluxes, precious metal-based materials, jewelry enamels, luster paints, and glazes.
The Dulevo Paint Plant, founded over a century ago, is Russia’s only, unique full-cycle enterprise that develops and makes fluxes, frits, pigments, binders and paints.
As European manufacturers left the Russian market, demand for ceramic paint paste for decorating flat glass has been growing. Rusceramica posted a substantial increase in the output of such products this year.
Rusceramica demonstrated its chief product lines at World of Glass last spring. They included thermoplastic paints, paint pastes for flat glass and precious metal-based materials used for decorating glass products. Stand visitors were very interested in the company’s products. According to company marketers, participation in World of Glass gave an additional boost to the company’s development.
